DIY Welding Project How To Make Welding Fixture Clamps. If you have a welding fixture table or you decided to follow my video and build your own welding fixture table than you know you need a good set of clamps. Previously I showed you how to make a set of F-clamps and in this episode I am going to show you how to modify a set of budget C-clamp locking pliers at a fraction of what it would cost to buy. These are great beginner welding projects.

thick and strong steel, for mountings. Alot like Polish and Russian builders, WELL BUILT, to L A S T….Mr. Lund, very good. You may add 45 and 30 and 15 degree holes, with those 4 inch 5/8 ones, too…..perhaps, with a line indicating on your fabulous metal table/template……

video ideas… 1) Tips or tricks for stick welding metal that has been galvanized but keep metal thickness 1/8" max, using 6013 and 2) Your experience with how different brands of the same type and diameter stick electrode operate under the exact same conditions. Example, I found that the 1/8" rods I'm using for practice now is hard to start and re-start and had to be kept at such a short arc that I'm basically scraping the metal, whereas the other brand in 3/32" starts and re-starts flawlessly and burns at proper arc length, plus doesnt go out if the arc is a little too short or too long.

New to tig welding just got in a trade a Thermal Dynamics 400GTS, minus the leads. Will be running it on 220/230 single phase. Came with adapters for the more common size leads. What size and amp capacity leads will I need ?

Good video Brandon. You can keep the threads on some of those shoulder bolts for other fixtures that you want to tighten down to your workbench. You could also have stated the approximate cost for the name brand welding table clamps to give your viewers some idea of the $$ savings.
You mentioned in a response to another poster that you are looking for an Anvil but can’t find an affordable one, so how about you make one as a video project? Maybe make a small bench anvil of 25 kilos and a 50 or 100 kilogram bruiser?

I like this video… But Turn OFF the BS "LIKE, DISLIKE" option, people want to know what to watch, if other people dislike it with a Thumbs down, or like it with a Thumbs up they need to see that information.
