I just found your channel, and subscribed I like your approach to detail on your projects, Me as a hobby welder and new plasma cutter owner and accomplished woodworker. This project appeals to me.
What i really appreciate is that you do not have the most high end tools to accomplish your task.
yes a magnetic drill I would like to have, but my drill press works well. your evolution chop saw NICE!
between the cut off wheel and the plasma cutter and our Band saw we can make all kinds of cuts to do most anything. I am enjoying your work!

I am getting back into this as a hobby and putzing around. I have a new 160amp inverter 110/220 welder and I am wondering which welding tods do I need to have laying around for playing with steel…? What are the types of welding rods I should keep… I know, not the best probably I have some 1/16 6013… I think I need some 3/32 of the same… But what else for a beginner…? I am thinking just two or three types as a max…

I like it especially thr hammertone paint. The zinc screws you didnt like are truss head. No matter the black screws were the perfect compliment. 👍

Hey the next rust to gold project try over night soak in white vinegar you will be amazed at the rust and mil scale removal this stuff does. PS rinse in clean water when done.

As always, awesome video. Since I also do blacksmithing as well, I might heat and bend the spikes, rather than cutting them off. That will allow me to make them an upper and lower hook in one! Thanks for the great idea!

Excellent work. I’ve yet to work with that hammer tone paint, but love the look of it. One day I’ll find a use for it I’m sure. Nice work Brandon.
